Malibu Boats Revolutionizes Wakeboard Towers Again

Malibu has led the charge in tower design and performance for many years. This year they expand the technological edge over our competitors with the new Illusion G3 gas-spring assisted tower featuring weightless fold down. From the solid foundation of billet aluminum bases to the billet tower support wings backing the 3” stainless steel hoop the Illusion G3 is unshakeable. The Illusion G3 features dual gas spring shocks to assist in creating the feature of weightless fold down. And this tower can be lowered and raise by one person. No need for a partner, it's that easy. The new tower design incredibly blends the best of form and function in creating the most advanced tower on the market today. Each Illusion G3 tower will feature standard Titan spinner/slide-off wakeboard racks.

Rossignol’s Angus Snowboard Wins Industry’s Highest Honor

Snowboarder Magazine’s 2009 “Best of Test” Award

Park City, August 28: Rossignol’s Angus snowboard wins 1 of only 3 Snowboarder Magazine’s Best of Test awards. The Best of Test award is a very high honor. Over a hundred riders from all over the country tested thousands of boards, in a multitude of snow conditions and terrain, throughout the winter at on snow demos. From thousands of boards the list is narrowed down and the top 3 boards, for the 09-10 season, are given the Best of Test award.

The Angus got some of the most positive feedback from riders in the test because of the unique camber technology Amptek. Jim, from The Sports Page in Queensbury, NY, said “I was blown away by this board; it was hands-down my favorite. Slight reverse camber so it’s very quick into the turn. Great at high speed, and still fun to play around on in the trees and the park. Rossi is at the top of my list, and at $399, yo ass must be crazy! A++”

North American Product Manager Eric Hutchison says “When you consider the single most influential factor leading to a board purchase is a shop employee's recommendation, winning a Snowboarder Magazine Best of Test award is huge for Rossignol Snowboards. The Angus debuts our new Amptek Camber technology which we consider to be the future of snowboard design. So to have immediate validation at the shop level for our latest and greatest design certainly bodes well for the future of Rossignol Snowboards. “

The Angus is an all mountain snowboard that delivers all around performance and ease of use. The unique shape, called Amptek, combines rocker (or reverse camber) at the tip and tail with traditional camber under foot. The Angus’ Amptek technology delivers the best on-trail performance and the best powder performance all in one board.

The exclusive honor of Snowboarder’s Best of Test award represents the broad appeal, high performance and amazing versatility that the Angus delivers.

Winning wheels

Winning wheels
Cassia Tech Center receives car won in competition

BURLEY - Two Cassia Regional Technical Center students got to see the fruits of their labor Thursday when a $15,000 car they won earlier this year at an automotive competition arrived at the school.

Travis Tolman and Michael McGill, both students at Burley High School, placed second in the Weber State University annual competition that was held Feb. 19 in Ogden, Utah. Twenty-five schools from four states qualified for the hands-on portion of the competition.

Tolman and McGill have both completed the automotive tech program at the school and will not get the benefit of training on the 2004 Saturn car they won, but were pleased to be able to pass it along to the students who will come after them.

"It was really nice to be able to do something for a school that taught us everything we know," said McGill, who plans to pursue a career in diesel mechanics.

Tolman said he was surprised the two-man team did as well as they did because McGill was extremely ill the day of the competition.

"We kind of had a one and a half-man team," Tolman said.

Cassia Regional Technical Center Instructor Scott Street said this is the second time the school has won a car during the competition. The school won its first car in 2006.

"In order to learn how to work on new cars you have to have new cars to work on," Street said. Most of the cars the school uses in training are donated and the newest one they have is a 1998 model.

"It just costs too much to buy them," Street said.

Street said the two students entered six competitions this year, placing in each. Both won between $15,000 to $20,000 in scholarships and about $1,500 in personal handtools.

"It's pretty impressive what they've won," Street said.

In addition, the all new collection offers buyers the opportunity to add custom boat numbers to match the wrap they choose.

Supra’s killer new Wake Wraps Collection not only features the latest design trends available, but you can also expect the wrap to last at least 8+ years outdoors.  Our partner ZDecals uses only the best materials from 3M coupled with 3M protective UV laminations and 3M approved inks.

Below is the photograph of their boat.

ABOUT ZDECALS

Hmm...A little about who we are? Well, one thing is for sure, we love what we do.  We don’t aim for perfection, we aim a little higher.  Not sure what that would be called, but hopefully you get it. We only expect perfection from each other day in and day out.  From the fresh designs from our designers, the vibrant colors that roll off our printers, to the over the top graphic installations, our customers should have no doubt that they’re dealing with the best.  Now we have to be honest, the reason we go nuts on quality is we really don’t want to see your wrap back in our shop and we like it when you spread the good word. We’d rather see you catching some big air on the weekends and doing a little bragging here and there.  We’re here to do one thing... create cool stuff and hear people say “how did you do that?!?”  If you’re looking for something different and a team you can trust, you’ve found us.
