Chaparral Continues to Dominate the Headlines

CHAPARRAL CONTINUES TO DOMINATE THE HEADLINES

Two Covers And Three Feature Articles In A Media Blitz Of Marine Publications

Boating Magazine named the new 310 Signature as one of 2010's "10 Best Boats". Featured on the March front cover, the 310 earned praise for its innovative hull design, economical fuel economy, snappy low-end performance and exciting top-speed. The magazine spotlighted the advantages of Chaparral's Wide Tech hull design, both in the cabin, on the deck and in overall roominess. Boating gave the 310 high marks for its roomy aft cabin, stellar cabin design and premium materials. The announcement of the 310 as one of the "10 Best" comes on the heels of the Boat of the Year winning 400 Premiere last year.

Boating World included the widely popular 186 SSi Wide Tech in its January 2010 "Boat Buyers Guide." Favorably impressed with the 186's quality, styling, storage space and overall performance, the magazine stated: "In this economy, the word downsizing can make you flinch but in the case of Chaparral's 186 SSi Wide Tech its a great idea in a compact package...The bow is extra roomy, and Chaparral uses the space wisely with a rear-facing seat and extra storage...There's not a boring straight line anywhere...Folks who love to see the scenery in fast-forward will be happy with the top speed of 53 mph."

Trailer Boats for the third consecutive year distinguished Chaparral with an "Excellence in Design" award, this time for the wildly popular 204 Xtreme.

"Think there's nothing new under the sun when it comes to the ubiquitous bowrider? Well, think again," states Trailer Boats as it acknowledges that the 204 Xtreme "blows the hatches off of conventional bowrider design—carving wicked wakes through what many consider a sea of monotony."

"The most dominant and truly innovative feature is Chaparral's optional Xtreme Arch Tower. The tower rakes boldly forward with a tube frame extending aft that integrates a canvas system, in turn eliminating the need for a bimini top...get-this, it's also motorized so you can fold it down and forward with the flick of a switch...combine all of that with the company's patented Wide Tech bowrider design, integrated ballast system and swim platform and you have a serious wake sports attitude. In our minds, it's one of 2010's freshest concepts and a shining example of Excellence in Design."
